Arrival & Dismissal

Arrival 

• Supervision begins at 7:40am (As a result, students should NOT begin to arrive until 7:40am)
• Students begin to enter the building at 7:40am
• School begins at 7:55am
• Students enter the building using their assigned Wing Door 
  • Preschool/Kindergarten - Wing 1
  • 1st Grade/2nd Grade - Wing 2
  • 3rd Grade/4th Grade - Wing 3
  • 5th Grade/6th Grade - Wing 4
• Students arriving after the 7:55 bell should enter the building using the front main entrance.

Breakfast

• Breakfast is served at Wickham from 7:40-7:55am.  Students who are eating breakfast should enter the building using their Wing Door (see above).  
• Staff will be present in the areas listed, above, to assist with and monitor arrival.
   

Dismissal

Please communicate with your child their afternoon pick up plan.  If this plan changes, please communicate the change AT LEAST 30 minutes prior to dismissal.  This should be communicated with the main office and classroom teacher.

2:55 Dismissal on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (*1:55 Dismissal on Thursday)

• Bus and daycare van riders will be dismissed at 2:55pm (1:55pm on Thursday) Students are dismissed out their Wing Door and walk to the front of the building.
• BASP will be dismissed at 2:55 (1:55pm on Thursday) Students will walk to the cafeteria.
• Walkers will be dismissed at 2:55pm (1:55pm on Thursday) Students are dismissed out their Wing Door and  walk to the front (south) or back (north) of the building before leaving the school’s property
• Car riders will begin to be dismissed at 2:55pm (1:55pm on Thursday) Students are dismissed out their Wing Door and walk to the front of the building outside Wing 1 to wait for their ride. (See Car Line Procedures)

Staff will be present in the areas listed, above, to assist with and monitor dismissal.
 

Morning Drop Off: Drop off begins at 7:40am - First Bell rings at 7:50am - Tardy Bell rings at 7:55am

• School staff will begin car line at 7:40am
• Pull forward, as directed by staff
• Stay in your vehicle
• For safety reasons, please do NOT park and walk your student to the building
• If dropping off snacks or other large items, please alert staff if your child needs help  
• Please stay in your drop off lane and behind the car in front of you 
• Exit the parking lot in the lane you entered - DO NOT SWITCH LANES (school lane turns right on Oakdale and median lane turns left on Oakdale)

After School Pick Up: Pick-up begins at 2:55pm (M,T, W, F) at 1:55pm (Th)

• Please visibly write the last name(s) of the child/ren you pick up on the back of this paper with heavy black marker
• Post or hold this sign in the front window of your vehicle during pick up so that staff can see the name/s 
• Staff will begin the pick up line once school busses are loaded and leaving the parking lot 
• Once signaled by staff to begin, please pull as far forward as possible to wait for your child/ren
• When all of your children are secured in their seatbelts, exit the parking lot safely
